You must be logged in to submit Articles
- Click on ‘Articles’.
- Click on ‘Submit Articles’.
- Enter a carefully chosen ‘Title’.
- Enter the ‘Story Text’ followed by the ‘Extended Text’. ‘Story Text’ is the text displayed in the box on the home page and should be brief and tempt the user to click the ‘Read More’ link. Please note the allowable HTML tags and be sure to carefully check any links you add to make sure they work. Remember to add ‘target=”_blank”’ to your tags to ensure that a link opens in a new browser window.
- Select either ‘Plain Text’ or ‘HTML Formatted’
- Click on the ‘Preview’ button (you must do this at least once before you can post an article) and make sure the article looks the way you want it to, check the spelling etc.
- Click ‘OK!’ to post the article.
Every article is reviewed by staff at SouthchurchVillage.com before it is posted to the site Content and seen on the Home page.
We are more than happy to proof read and tidy the formatting of articles, so if you wish, you can simply type your article and make comments for us in capitals where required. When we review the article, we will tidy it up and take into account any comments you have added (and remove them of course!)
If you do not particularly like the idea of using the web interface to create your Article, you can email it to us here. Simply type the text clearly into an email or Word document and send it to us here. We are even happy to discuss your wishes personally or by telephone.
